Job Summary
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Professional with 3–5 years of experience in consulting or professional services. The candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and a deep understanding of business services or management consulting offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate leads through various channels including cold calling, networking, events, and digital outreach.
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities in target markets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations to potential clients.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with consulting teams to align offerings with client needs.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to refine strategy.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM tools.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, preferably in a consulting, professional services, or B2B environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport at CXO and senior levels.
- Familiarity with proposal writing and consultative sales methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
