Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Factory Accountant / Senior Financial Analyst to join our food processing plant team in Calabar.


• The ideal candidate will have a solid background in FMCG manufacturing, cost accounting, and distributor management. T


• his role requires strong financial acumen to support efficient factory operations, optimize costs, and ensure financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the factory.


• Monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.


• Oversee factory funds management including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.


• Establish and maintain robust financial controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.


• Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing effective risk management strategies.


• Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.


• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.


• Perform product costing and monitor profitability to support business objectives.


• Control operating expenses, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.


• Collaborate with distributors to optimize sales and revenue growth.


• Prepare and submit detailed financial reports, including periodic updates on factory performance.


• Lead budget preparation and ongoing financial planning activities.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in FMCG manufacturing and distributor management.


• Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.


• Proven skills in inventory management and cost control.


• Hands-on experience with fund management and financial reporting.


• Deep understanding of financial controls, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, Sage).

N400,000 – N600,000 monthly
