Job Description
Responsibilities
- Carry out of vehicle service and repair as per specified in the service checklist and vehicle repair order.
- Ensuring all service and repair are performed thoroughly and in accordance to good quality practice and procedure adhering Company's standard.
- Practice of genuine replacement of parts and service rendered according to the checklist and scope of works.
- Diagnosis and identifications of technical fault and determine the correct measure to take.
- Identifications of the spare parts required for any given job.
- Ensuring the work assigned is carried out in a professional manner and that the vehicles are clean and presentable prior release from the workshop.
- Maintaining standard FRT on works.
- Ensure compliance with safety systems and procedures.
Educational Qualifications
- Minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience as an auto technician or in a similar role, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
- Sound knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and mechanical components.
- Ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., trade test, automotive service excellence) will be an added advantage.
