Job Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced male Academic Head to lead our educational and training initiatives.
- The role involves designing, implementing, and overseeing academic programs, ensuring they align with industry standards and evolving technological trends.
- The Academic Head will also drive curriculum development, manage faculty, and provide strategic leadership for the academic division.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement academic strategies aligned with organizational vision and industry trends.
- Ensure all programs meet accreditation standards and industry requirements.
- Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies into teaching and learning.
Curriculum & Program Development
- Design and oversee tech-focused curricula that equip learners with in-demand skills.
- Continuously update academic content to reflect best practices and industry advancements.
- Lead the development of certifications, bootcamps, and workshops.
- Incorporate practical, hands-on learning through projects and internships.
Faculty & Team Management
- Recruit, train, and manage academic staff to deliver high-quality education.
- Conduct faculty evaluations and promote professional development.
- Foster a culture of excellence, research, and continuous learning.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Establish academic policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Monitor learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
- Implement feedback systems to improve academic offerings.
Industry & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build partnerships with tech companies and industry experts to enhance credibility.
- Represent the organization at conferences and academic forums.
- Collaborate internally to align education with business and market demands.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Education, or related field.
- 5 – 10 years of academic leadership experience, ideally in a tech-focused environment.
- Proven expertise in curriculum design, instructional methods, accreditation processes and industry certifications and faculty management.
- Strong knowledge of emerging technologies and education methodologies.
- Experience with e-learning platforms, digital course development, and online training.
