Job Description
Bids & Tendering Leadership
- Lead and oversee the preparation, review, and submission of high-quality technical and commercial tenders.
- Develop competitive bid strategies, pricing models, and cost estimations to maximize win rates.
- Ensure all tender submissions meet client specifications, legal requirements, and compliance standards.
- Monitor bid timelines and ensure timely delivery of proposals.
Contract & Risk Management
- Oversee contract administration, including claims management, amendments, and correspondence.
- Identify risks and opportunities in contracts and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure contracts are executed in line with organizational goals and client expectations.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Finance, Legal, Business Development) to gather critical inputs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, regulators, and partners.
- Represent the company in pre-bid meetings, negotiations, and client presentations.
Continuous Improvement
- Maintain a repository of past bids and lessons learned for process optimization.
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to shape future bid strategies.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant professional certification (CIPS, PMP, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
Experience:
- 7–10 years’ proven experience in bid management, tendering, and contract administration within oil & gas or related industries.
- Strong expertise in NIPEX portal and tendering processes.
- Track record of leading high-value tenders and achieving successful contract awards.
- Experience in risk management, pricing strategies, and complex negotiations.
