Position Summary:




  • We are seeking highly motivated and talented recent graduates in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering to join our dynamic team.

  • This intensive program will provide you with rotational exposure across various critical departments.

  • You will work under the guidance of experienced engineers to develop practical skills, deepen your technical knowledge, and contribute to real-world projects in power systems, elevator technology, and mechanical maintenance.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Learning & Development: Actively participate in all formal training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job learning modules.

  • Technical Support: Assist senior engineers in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of:

  • Electrical Focus: Generators (Diesel & Gas), Switchgear, Control Panels, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Power Distribution Systems.

  • Mechanical Focus: Elevators, Escalators, Diesel Engines, HVAC systems, and other electro-mechanical equipment.

  • Site Work: Participate in field service activities, including site inspections, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting under supervision.

  • Documentation: Assist in preparing technical reports, maintenance schedules, project documentation, and equipment logs.

  • Project Assistance: Support project teams in planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.

  • Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and industry standards (e.g., ISO standards) to ensure a zero-accident work environment.

  • Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including technicians, sales, and customer service, to provide integrated solutions.



Rotational Assignments:




  • Power Generation Division (Service & Maintenance)

  • Elevator and Escalator Division (Installation & Modernization)

  • Technical Workshop / Repair Center

  • Projects & Planning Department

  • Quality Assurance / Control Department



Qualifications and Requirements:



Essential:




  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering from a reputable university.

  • Only candidates who currently reside in Lagos will be considered.

  • Technical Acumen: Strong theoretical knowledge in core engineering principles.

  • Learning Agility: Demonstrated eagerness to learn new skills and technologies quickly.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to approach technical challenges.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Initiative: A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a strong drive for results.



Desirable (Advantageous):




  • Internship Experience: Any prior industrial training or internship in a related field (power, manufacturing, automation, etc.).

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB) is a strong plus.

  • Certifications: Any relevant introductory certifications (e.g., in safety, basic automation, or project management).

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel to various sites and work outside standard hours when project requirements demand.
