  • We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team and help us expand our market presence.

  • The Van Sales Representative will be responsible for the direct sale and delivery of our products to retail outlets within an assigned route.

  • This role combines sales, merchandising, and distribution, requiring a proactive individual who can effectively manage their route, achieve sales targets, and build strong relationships with clients.



Key Responsibilities

Direct Sales and Merchandising:




  • Conduct daily sales activities to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.

  • Sell and distribute products directly from the company van to retailers, wholesalers, and other customers.

  • Ensure our products are well-displayed and visible in all retail outlets.



Route Management:




  • Manage a designated sales route efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and service to all customers.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the van to ensure it is in good working condition.

  • Maintain accurate inventory of products in the van and reconcile stock at the end of each day.



Customer Relations:




  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers on your route.

  • Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and gather market feedback.

  • Identify and prospect for new retail outlets to expand the customer base.



Financial and Administrative:




  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports, including sales data, inventory levels, and competitor activities.

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and procedures.



Qualifications and Requirements




  • High school diploma or its equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a Van Sales Representative or a similar role, preferably within the FMCG sector in Nigeria.

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Good knowledge of sales techniques, merchandising, and customer service.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relationships.
