Job Summary
- The Communications Officer (Content Creation & Social Media) will be responsible for developing engaging written, visual, and multimedia content that strengthens brand presence across digital platforms.
- This role combines creativity with strategic communication, ensuring our messages resonate with target audiences including clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- The position supports the Communications & Branding Manager in implementing Group-wide communication strategies, while focusing on content production, social media management, and digital storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Write blog posts, articles, newsletters, email campaigns, and press pieces that alignwith the Group’s brand voice.
- Develop creative assets such as infographics, carousels, and presentations for campaigns and corporate communications.
- Draft scripts and produce short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
- Manage website blog updates and collaborate with the design team on visual storytelling.
Social Media & Digital Presence:
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging posts across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Monitor community engagement and respond to messages/comments professionally.
- Use tools such as Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or Hootsuite for campaign scheduling and performance tracking.
- Stay updated on digital trends to optimize reach and engagement.
Analytics & Optimization:
- Track social media metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) using Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, and Google Analytics.
- Provide monthly performance reports and recommend improvements.
- Optimize all content for SEO and audience engagement.
Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with the Communications & Branding Manager to execute campaigns.
- Support Directors and departments with creative content for projects, initiatives, and events.
- Assist in developing materials for corporate presentations, brand showcases, and PR events.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2–4 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, or social media management.
- Strong writing and editing skills in English with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in content design and editing tools: Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Rush, CapCut, InShot.
- Familiarity with CMS (WordPress, Notion), SEO tools (Yoast, SEMrush, Ubersuggest).
- Knowledge of social scheduling and analytics tools (Meta Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
- Creative thinker with proven ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
- Organized, deadline-driven, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Bonus Advantage:
- Experience creating viral/short-form video content.
- Prior corporate communications or agency experience.
- Basic knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Brevo).
