Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Receive and inspect goods (food, beverages, frozen items, consumables, and equipment) against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Record all stock accurately in the inventory management system.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of stock (FIFO/FEFO method).
- Monitor stock levels and alert the Store Supervisor of low-stock or excess items.
Issuance of Stock:
- Issue materials to kitchen, bar, and operational teams upon authorized requisition.
- Record all issues in stock registers and reconcile balances daily.
- Ensure accountability in withdrawals to minimize wastage, loss, or theft.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain up-to-date store records (manual and/or digital).
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Support periodic stock counts and audits.
Compliance & SOP Adherence:
- Ensure that storage areas (dry, cold, and frozen) meet hygiene and safety standards.
- Follow all standard operating procedures for receiving, storing, and issuing items.
- Report any damaged, expired, or missing stock immediately.
Operational Support:
- Assist in arranging deliveries with vendors and logistics providers.
- Work with kitchen, bar, and operations teams to ensure smooth supply chain flow.
- Support the store supervisor during vendor evaluations and quality checks.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or inventory software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
