Location: Ota, Ogun

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, steam lines, and auxiliary equipment.


• Carry out routine inspections, adjustments, and preventive maintenance on boilers and related systems.


• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.


• Monitor water treatment systems, fuel usage, steam pressure, and temperature to ensure efficient boiler operation.


• Diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate timely repairs.


• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of boiler operations, maintenance, and performance.


• Support production by ensuring continuous steam supply with minimal downtime.


• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on improvement projects for energy efficiency and cost reduction.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: ND / HND / B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.


• Experience: Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience as a Boiler Operator in an industrial or manufacturing environment (FMCG/food industry experience is an advantage).


• Strong knowledge of boiler operation, water treatment, combustion systems, and safety protocols.


• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.


• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and operational guidelines.
