Responsibilities
- Provide specialist diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
- Deliver emergency care and resuscitation for critically ill children.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior doctors, residents, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
- Promote preventive child health services, including immunization, nutrition, and family counselling.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
- Contribute to clinical research, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
- MBBS with fellowship in Paediatrics (WACP, NPMCN, or equivalent) and full MDCN registration required.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Medical Degree and completion of residency training in Pediatrics
- Valid medical license to practice as a Paediatrician
- Excellent knowledge of child health and development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Empathy and compassion towards children and their families
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle stressful and challenging situations
- Availability for part-time work.
