• We're looking for a Solutions & Research Engineer to join our Engineering Division. This role blends technical support, infrastructure design, and cutting-edge research to deliver high-performance solutions across our retail network.

Your Responsibilities:

• Restore service failures (Corporate: <4hrs, Retail: <24hrs)


• Design and implement FTTH monitoring applications to improve fault recovery


• Conduct preventive maintenance and optimize network uptime


• Research and implement new technologies to enhance ipNX products


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions


• Prepare and maintain network documentation, MOPs, and performance reports


• Provide technical support across provisioning, installation, and surveillance

Your expected qualifications:

• BEng in Computer Engineering, Electrical Electronics, or related IT field (2.2/Upper Credit minimum)


• 3+ years experience in FTTH, OSP/ISP fiber infrastructure, and network support


• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP (AWS, CISSP, CCDP, CCIE are a plus)


• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN design, routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, RIP), and core network device configuration


• Experience with CAD, GIS, DWDM, and network monitoring tools


• Proven ability to present technical concepts and manage stakeholder expectations
