Location: Ota, Ogun



Key Responsibilities




  • Supervise the operation, maintenance, and performance of all utility systems including boilers, air compressors, chillers, water treatment plants, generators, and HVAC systems.

  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for utility equipment.

  • Monitor utility usage and ensure efficiency in energy and resource consumption.

  • Lead troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and resolution of equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.

  • Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations governing utility operations.

  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure reliable utility supply to all plant operations.

  • Supervise, train, and mentor utility technicians and operators to ensure high performance and adherence to procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports of utility operations, consumption data, and maintenance activities.

  • Drive continuous improvement projects in energy efficiency, sustainability, and system reliability.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Education: ND / HND / B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in utility operations and maintenance within a manufacturing or FMCG environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role.

  • In-depth knowledge of boiler operations, compressed air systems, cooling towers, refrigeration units, and power generation systems.

  • Strong background in preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

  • Familiarity with safety standards, environmental regulations, and energy management systems.
