Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to standard recipes and quality guidelines. Ensure all food items are properly cleaned, cut, and prepared for cooking.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor food supplies and inventory levels, assisting with placing orders for ingredients as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Quality Control: Taste and inspect all food to ensure it meets quality standards before being served.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree.
- Culinary school certification or a relevant diploma is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen or similar environment.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team environment.
