Job Summary




  • The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking meals in a professional and efficient manner. This role involves following recipes, managing food inventory, and ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities




  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to standard recipes and quality guidelines. Ensure all food items are properly cleaned, cut, and prepared for cooking.

  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor food supplies and inventory levels, assisting with placing orders for ingredients as needed.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.

  • Quality Control: Taste and inspect all food to ensure it meets quality standards before being served.



Qualifications and Requirements




  • Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree.

  • Culinary school certification or a relevant diploma is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen or similar environment.

  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.

  • Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality food.
