Key Responsibilities:




  • Monitoring the performance of investments to ensure they are meeting their stated objectives.

  • Analysing financial statements to measure the impact of market fluctuations on a firm’s financial position.

  • Determining the rate of return on an investment or determining the amount of cash inflow or outflow over time.

  • Developing new investment strategies based on current trends in the financial markets.

  • Recommending changes to an existing portfolio based on new information or changing market conditions.

  • Providing research support for investment teams by tracking industry trends and statistics.

  • Coordinating with other departments within a company to gather information about new investments.

  • Recommending changes to investment strategies based on an assessment of risk tolerance, time horizon, and other considerations.

  • Researching potential investments and making recommendations to clients based on their risk tolerance, time horizon, and other considerations.



Qualifications and Requirements:




  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics or another closely related field

  • Knowledge of Islamic/non-interest finance is an added advantage

  • 3 - 5 years’ post-NYSC experience.

  • Proven Fund Management Experience and financial modelling

  • Policy and regulatory knowledge, interpretation and application

  • Ability to analyse large amounts of data and compile detailed reports

  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.

  • Knowledge of Nigeria's capital market regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Familiarity with SEC rules and other relevant regulatory frameworks.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential
