Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations.
- Follow company safety protocols and procedures.
- Transport goods or passengers to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes using maps, GPS, and knowledge of the area to avoid traffic, road closures, or other delays.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Check fluid levels (oil, coolant, etc.), tire pressure, brakes, and lights.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents to management immediately.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, both inside and out.
- Ensure the vehicle has sufficient fuel for each trip.
- Complete and submit logs, trip reports, or other required paperwork.
- Collect payments and issue receipts when necessary.
- Interact with clients, customers, or colleagues in a polite and professional manner.
- Represent the company positively and professionally.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Driving Credentials:
- A valid driver's license
- A clean driving record with no major traffic violations.

Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven work experience as a driver.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation applications.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
