  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Officer to join our finance team.

  • The Account Officer will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

  • The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of financial data.



Responsibilities




  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets as required.

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.

  • Monitor cash flow, track expenses, and ensure financial compliance with company policies.

  • Assist in preparing for audits and work with external auditors when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

  • Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.

  • Assist with tax preparation, filing, and compliance.

  • Handle any other accounting-related duties as assigned.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting or a related role.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zohobooks) and MS Excel.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
