Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
- The Sub-Agency Coordinator will be responsible for managing, supporting, and expanding our network of sub-agencies in the travel and tourism sector. The role requires a solid understanding of tourism laws, professional industry bodies, and operational best practices. The successful candidate will oversee sales to all sub-agencies as primary responsibility. While also conducting compliance, sales growth, training sub-agencies, leading the sub-agency team and performance monitoring of sub-agencies, while serving as the link between management, partners, and regulators.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead sales with sub-agencies nationwide.
- Manage and support relationships with sub-agencies nationwide.
- Assign and track agency codes while ensuring compliance with standards.
- Provide training on systems, processes, and tourism best practices.
- Coordinate group offers, proposals, and performance reporting.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve escalated issues from sub-agencies.
- Develop incentive programs and strategies to drive sub-agency performance.
- Ensure compliance with tourism regulations and licensing requirements.
- Act as liaison with industry professional bodies such as NANTA, NATOP, and IATA.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Drive sub-agency sales and revenue growth by setting and monitoring performance targets.
- Develop and execute strategies for expanding the sub-agency network.
- Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Track and analyze sales trends to improve profitability.
Team Management & Training:
- Deliver training and capacity-building sessions for sub-agency operators.
- Provide ongoing guidance and mentorship to ensure adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate periodic performance reviews for sub-agencies.
CRM & Data Management:
- Utilize CRM and reporting tools to track sub-agency performance.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance, contracts, and performance metrics.
- Generate timely reports for management and decision-making.
- Collaboration & Revenue Support:
- Work closely with management to design group travel offers and packages.
- Support cross-functional teams in events, ticketing, hospitality, and corporate travel.
- Strengthen collaboration between sub-agencies and the organization to ensure service consistency.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry.
- Proven experience managing agency or partner networks.
Sales & Tech Proficiency:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and reporting tools.
- Ability to analyze performance data and drive actionable insights.
- Sales-driven mindset with strong negotiation skills.
Customer & Market Orientation:
- Deep knowledge of tourism laws, compliance standards, and licensing requirements.
- Familiarity with industry professional bodies (IATA, NANTA, NATOP).
- Strong market awareness and ability to identify business opportunities.
