Job Summary
- The Area Sales Manager / Territory Sales In-Charge (ASM/TSI) will be responsible for driving primary sales within the assigned territory.
- The role requires managing distributor relationships, guiding sales executives, monitoring competitor activities, and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets.
- The ASM/TSI will also collect, analyze, and report market data to support informed decision-making and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve designated primary sales targets by product variant and SKU.
- Set clear sales quotas for sales executives, provide guidance, and monitor performance to ensure targets are met.
- Strengthen distributor relationships and ensure their business requirements are addressed.
- Improve brand visibility and awareness in the assigned territory to drive market penetration.
- Monitor competitor activities and develop proactive strategies to stay ahead.
- Prepare and submit regular sales performance and market analysis reports to the Business Development Manager.
- Execute company-wide sales strategies while developing territory-specific innovative tactics to achieve growth.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, trend analysis, and customer insights.
- Foster and maintain positive, long-term distributor and client relationships.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field (Business / Marketing preferred).
- Minimum of 3+ years of proven sales experience, including team management responsibility.
- Experience in sales management within FMCG, distribution, or related sectors is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Technical / Functional:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools/software.
- Ability to analyze sales and market data for decision-making.
