Overview




  • Our client is seeking a dynamic, resilient, and results-driven General Manager to lead operations across multiple properties.

  • This role offers an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious leader to take their career to the next level, driving growth, operational excellence, and shareholder value at a critical stage in the company’s expansion.

  • The position is full-time, Monday to Friday (9 AM – 5 PM), with flexibility required for extended hours, weekends, and both local and international travel at short notice.



Key Responsibilities




  • Oversee the management of allproperties under under our client, ensuring operations align with global best practices.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing operational concerns and ensuring prompt, cost-effective resolution of maintenance and service needs.

  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring procurement of supplies and services meets the highest standards and best value.

  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and safety compliance of cooling, ventilation, mechanical, and electrical systems.

  • Lead disaster preparedness and response efforts, including fire evacuation and emergency drills.

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with best practices.

  • Provide overall leadership in health, safety, and operational excellence.

  • Inspire, coach, and develop staff to achieve peak performance and align with company objectives.

  • Foster a high-performance culture through effective performance management, KPIs, and appraisals.

  • Identify and implement HR efficiencies to improve employee benefits and reduce business costs.

  • Drive staff engagement, professional development, and succession planning.

  • Support project planning by reviewing briefs, timelines, and statutory requirements.

  • Prepare, submit, and participate in project bids.

  • Act as contract administrator where subcontractors are engaged, ensuring contractual compliance.

  • Monitor project delivery against budgets and timelines, ensuring health, safety, and quality standards are upheld.

  • Deliver projects within scope, on time, and within budget.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Real Estate Management, or a related discipline (minimum 2:1 classification).

  • Minimum of 4 year experience in similar roles

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence, motivate, and drive high-performing teams.

  • Demonstrated success in income growth, cost control, change management, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.

  • Track record of collaboration with senior peers to maximize operational delivery.

  • Customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.



Compensation

An attractive remuneration package is offered - (N250,000 – N400,000 monthly, depending on experience).
