Role Overview
- The Cleaner and Office Assistant will be responsible for ensuring a clean, tidy, and well-organized office environment while also providing basic administrative and support services to enhance smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness of all office areas, including workspaces, meeting rooms, reception, restrooms, and kitchen.
- Empty bins, dispose of waste properly, and ensure recycling where applicable.
- Clean and sanitize desks, furniture, equipment, and surfaces regularly.
- Replenish office and restroom supplies (toiletries, cleaning materials, etc.).
- Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
Office Assistance Duties:
- Assist with setting up meeting rooms where required.
- Handle errands such as photocopying, filing, and mail distribution where required.
- Support in receiving guests and directing them as required.
- Assist with basic office administrative tasks as assigned by line Manager/management.
- Monitor and report low stock of office consumables (water, tea, coffee, stationery).
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a cleaner, janitor, or office assistant is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Professional, reliable, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to resume early enough before staff members resume.
