Location: Victoria Island, Lagos.
Salary: N160,000 net and other benefits.
Objectives:
- Reviewing transactions to identify any Money Laundering or Terrorist Financing cautionary flags and rapidly dispositioning them along with escalating cases which requires further review by the transaction monitoring supervisor.
· Responsible for employing customer screening tools to complete screening on sanctions and PEPs lists. The role is a critical element of the Bank's defense against money laundering, terrorist financing and fraud.
Job responsibilities:
- Extract value from what we already have by focusing on optimizing processes within the Unit/Department in line with the value creation philosophy. This includes individual contributions and recommendations to improve existing business project/initiative.
- Drive Innovation by identifying and taking advantage of new business opportunities, e.g., by stimulating and encouraging new business opportunities, launch of products, product/process innovation, business model innovation etc.
Job requirements:
- BSC / HND in Accounting or other financial-related fields of study
- Proven experience as a Fraud Analyst in the banking industry or within Mobile Financial Services preferably
- Good knowledge of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Mobile Money Guidelines and AML Regulations
