Job Summary

• We are seeking an Assistant French Language Educator at Standard Bearers School, whowill help students develop fluency and confidence in French while deepening their cultural awareness.


• The role involves delivering engaging lessons, designing creative learning resources, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver French lessons across different proficiency levels.


• Teach spoken and written French, including grammar, vocabulary, and conversation.


• Create engaging lesson plans and resources that suit diverse learning styles.


• Assess student progress through oral and written evaluations, providing constructive feedback.


• Organize cultural activities that immerse students in French culture and traditions.


• Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and progress.


• Use technology, digital platforms, and blended learning tools to enhance teaching.


• Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular language integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in French Language, Literature, or a related field.


• Teaching qualification or certification is an advantage.


• Proven proficiency in oral and written French.


• Experience teaching French to primary school students.


• Strong classroom management and communication skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other learning platforms.


• Patient, creative, and passionate about teaching languages.
