Job Summary




  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Officer with experience in quantity surveying, specializing in Equipment Leasing & Procurement to oversee sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring equipment for operational needs.

  • The ideal candidate will manage vendor relationships, ensure cost-effectiveness, and maintain compliance with procurement policies and regulations.



Responsibilities




  • Identify and evaluate suppliers for leasing and purchasing equipment in line with company needs.

  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors to ensure favorable agreements.

  • Coordinate leasing arrangements, including contract execution, payment schedules, and maintenance terms.

  • Manage procurement processes, including purchase orders, requisitions, and supplier evaluation.

  • Monitor equipment lease renewals, ensuring timely action to prevent service disruptions.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Maintain records of purchases, leases, and supplier agreements for audit and reporting purposes.

  • Work closely with internal departments to understand equipment requirements and ensure timely delivery.

  • Develop cost-saving strategies to optimize procurement efficiency and minimize expenses.

  • Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new suppliers for competitive advantage.

  • Assist in maintaining company quality control program

  • Leverage technology, safety measures, and information sharing to increase productivity and profitability

  • Handle change order requests and forecast upcoming demand

  • Manage materials/equipment inventory

  • Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders

  • Positively represent the company at all times through a success-oriented and professional demeanor

  • Work with team members to complete duties as needed



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience in procurement, leasing, or supply chain management, preferably in equipment leasing.

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of procurement laws, vendor management, and contract negotiation.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.

  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
