Job Purpose




  • The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive brand growth, consumer engagement, and profitability.

  • This role demands alignment of marketing activities with business objectives.



Key Deliverables & Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute brand strategies, positioning, and communication plans.

  • Lead new product development (NPD) and manage go-to-market launches.

  • Conduct consumer and market analysis to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Drive advertising campaigns, media planning, digital initiatives, and PR activities.

  • Partner with trade marketing and sales to ensure strong in-market execution.

  • Monitor and report on brand performance metrics (market share, awareness, profitability).

  • Manage annual brand budget and ensure ROI from marketing investments.

  • Oversee creative agencies, vendors, and research partners.



KPIs:




  • Market share growth & brand penetration.

  • Brand awareness and equity scores.

  • ROI on marketing spend.

  • Successful and timely NPD launches.

  • Consumer engagement (digital and offline).



Qualifications & Skills




  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA is a plus).

  • 5–8 years of marketing/brand management experience (FMCG preferred).

  • Strong analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Proficiency in consumer insights, market research, and P&L management.
