Research funding opportunities and develop compelling proposals and grant applications to secure financial support for initiatives.
Identify and pursue funding opportunities from international donors, corporate organizations, and government agencies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective donors and stakeholders to ensure long-term funding.
Monitor trends in maternal health and international development to align funding strategies with emerging opportunities.
Work closely with program teams to design sustainable, high-impact initiatives that align with donor priorities.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop persuasive proposals and presentations, and track funding performance metrics.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in in public health, marketing, international relations or any related Field, A master’s degree in business would be an added advantage
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, fundraising, or grant management.
Proven experience working with donor compliance requirements and reporting.
Prior experience with organizations funded by USAID, the Gates Foundation, or similar donors is highly desirable.
Understanding of maternal health challenges in Nigeria or comparable settings.
Familiarity with funding trends and stakeholder relationships in global maternal health.
