We are seeking a skilled and proactive HVAC Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across our production and administrative facilities. This role is critical to ensuring optimal climate control for equipment performance, employee comfort, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and exhaust systems
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems and perform timely repairs
Monitor and adjust building automation systems (BAS) to optimize energy efficiency
Conduct routine preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service records
Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support temperature-sensitive operations
Respond to emergency breakdowns and participate in on-call rotation as needed
Recommend upgrades or replacements for aging HVAC infrastructure
Qualifications
Technical diploma or certification in HVAC or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 3years HVAC experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and mechanical components
Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and energy management practices
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
