Key Responsibilities
- Assess job order and final outcome images ahead of work to raise any concerns and confirm the desired outcome.
- Perform cutting, sewing, stapling, and fitting of upholstery materials onto furniture frames.
- Measure and mark fabric or leather for cutting and fitting.
- Operate upholstery equipment (e.g., staple guns, sewing machines) safely and efficiently.
- Select appropriate materials for each furniture type based on design instructions.
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished pieces for alignment, wrinkles, and defects.
- Repair or rework defective upholstery as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the upholstery workstation to keep fabrics pristine.
- Assist in tracking material usage and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to safety and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with other production team members to meet deadlines.

- Keeping within the upholstery timeframe for each furniture item.
- Quality of finish and error/rework rate.
