Job Description
Role Summary
- The Solar Engineers will oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of
- installed solar energy systems across existing facilities. This includes ensuring system reliability,
- managing technical teams, conducting diagnostics, and implementing upgrades to maximize
- energy output and system longevity.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze performance of solar PV systems across all sites
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnostics
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for repairs and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and energy regulations
- Maintain accurate records of energy production, downtime, and maintenance activities
- Provide technical reports and recommendations to management
- Support expansion projects and integration of new solar technologies
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- B.Sc Degree or HND qualification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- Must be COREN registered.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in solar PV system design, installation, or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of inverters, batteries, charge controllers, and monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with Nigerian energy regulations and grid interaction.
- Service oriented with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills. Assertive and level-headed personality with an eye for details
