  • As a Showroom Sales Officer, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets by promoting the company’s range of products.

  • You will serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring excellent customer experience, maintaining showroom standards, and driving brand visibility.



Responsibilities




  • Sell the company’s products on or above target levels.

  • Promote and drive sales to achieve daily, monthly, and quarterly goals.

  • Work closely with the sales and production teams to plan and execute product promotions.

  • Proactively generate customer orders using showroom stock, catalogues, and available product options.

  • Recommend alternatives to ready-made items, including custom order materials and finishes.

  • Maintain and update the accessories inventory database, ensuring display accessories are clean, organized, and well-presented.

  • Ensure the showroom’s visual presentation meets company merchandising standards, from seasonal layouts to daily displays.

  • Liaise with sales and procurement managers to confirm stock availability and ensure all orders are fully paid before delivery.

  • Maintain accurate order checklists to minimize errors and delivery delays.

  • Forward retail leads outside the showroom scope to the main sales team for follow-up.

  • Keep the showroom, storeroom, and related areas clean, tidy, and well-organized.

  • Ensure all products are properly labelled, priced, and include accurate details (dimensions, materials, etc.).

  • Ensure catalogues, swatches, and samples are always available and up to date.

  • Maintain a consistent and professional sales presence in the showroom.



Requirements




  • B.Sc. / HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Degree/Diploma in Interior Decoration from a recognized/accredited institution in Nigeria is an advantage.

  • 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably within the furniture or interior design industry.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and customer service orientation.
