  • A Business Development Assistant supports the business development team in identifying opportunities, building relationships, and driving company growth.

  • The role involves assisting in research, proposal preparation, client follow-up, and coordination of business development initiatives to help expand the organization’s market reach and revenue.



Responsibilities




  • Assist in identifying and researching potential clients, markets, and business opportunities.

  • Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and bids for new business.

  • Maintain and update client databases.

  • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and client communications.

  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to support business growth strategies.

  • Draft correspondence, contracts, and reports as needed.

  • Support the development and implementation of strategic partnerships.

  • Design, build and maintain the company's social media presence.

  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Business Development manager.



Education and Experience




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations.



Required Skills and Competencies:




  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Good understanding of business development principles and sales processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.

  • Tech-savvy, social media management and digital communications skills

  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.

  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
