Job Summary

• Aniso Specialist Medical Centre is seeking a fast and detail-oriented Medical Typist to assist a Doctor with accurate and timely documentation using the hospital's electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities

• Type and update patient notes, reports and summaries in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.


• Ensure medical terminology and abbreviations are used correctly.


• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.


• Assist the doctor with clerical tasks related to patient documentation.


• Ensure all records are completed and filed promptly.


• Review documents for accuracy, completeness and consistency.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND or HND in Secretarial Studies, Office Technology or a related field.


• At least 1 year of experience as a typist, preferably in a hospital setting.


• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.


• Good understanding of medical terminology.


• Proficiency in computer use and familiarity with electronic medical record systems.


• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.


• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.


• Must live in Benin city.
