Job Description




  • The Regional Manager – North will be responsible for overseeing branch operations, sales performance, and market growth within the Northern Region.

  • The role requires a strategic leader who can drive profitability, strengthen market presence, ensure operational excellence, and build high-performing teams that align with SIMS Nigeria’s standards and business objectives.



Key Responsibilities




  • Drive regional sales performance to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

  • Oversee branch operations within the Northern region, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.

  • Identify and develop new market opportunities to expand SIMS’ market presence.

  • Lead, coach, and evaluate branch managers and sales teams to optimize productivity and performance.

  • Ensure efficient stock management, cash control, and operational discipline across branches.

  • Monitor and analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to guide business strategy.

  • Ensure timely reporting.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field (MBA is an added advantage).

  • Minimum of 5 - 7years’ experience in sales, retail, or distribution management, with at least 3years in a regional or multi-branch leadership role.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales and operational targets in a competitive market.

  • Experience in the consumer electronics, FMCG, or retail industry is highly desirable.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills with proven ability to drive team performance and maintain high customer service standards.

  • Excellent analytical, strategic, and operational management abilities with sound knowledge of retail operations, inventory control, and business technology tools (MS Office, ERP).
