Job Description
Core Purpose
- Lead the Abuja branch to achieve revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction while managing business, technical, and administrative functions.
Scope
- Regional (Abuja and Northern Nigeria) – covering physical and institutional client acquisition, project execution, and branch operations.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales:
- Drive sales and business growth by identifying, prospecting, and converting new clients across target sectors.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand the company’s presence in Abuja and Northern Nigeria.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while exploring new partnership opportunities.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
Branch Leadership & Management:
- Lead branch operations and ensure seamless coordination between business development, technical, and administrative functions.
- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve individual and collective performance goals.
- Carry out branch-level administrative responsibilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit periodic performance and operational reports to the Head Office.
Technical Coordination:
- Lead and coordinate the activities of the technical team to ensure timely delivery of projects and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor project performance, customer feedback, and service quality.
- Collaborate with the technical department at Head Office for project planning and execution support.
Financial & Strategic Accountability:
- Monitor branch revenue, costs, and profitability; recommend and implement improvement initiatives.
- Support the Head Office in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and performance targets.
- Uphold company standards of operational efficiency, ethics, and customer service.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly and quarterly sales target achievement by branch and product line.
- Number and value of B2B and institutional deals closed.
- Growth in qualified leads generated (offline and digital).
- Customer satisfaction and retention scores.
- Branch profitability and cost-to-income ratio.
- Accuracy and timeliness of sales and operational reporting to the Head Office.
- Project delivery turnaround time and service quality.
- Staff performance and branch operational efficiency levels.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Management, or related field.
- 3 – 5 years relevant experience in business development, sales, or branch operations, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial services.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing technical or sales teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/ERP tools.
- Proximity to the Abuja branch will be a key consideration for selection.
