Job Brief




  • The ideal candidate must have a strong background in security management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments



Responsibilities




  • Oversee and support the security team, assign security officers to specific patrol areas & Beat, ensure duties are performed effectively and address any issues providing training and disciplinary action where necessary

  • Monitor team and individual performance, provide feedback, and hold regular team briefings.

  • Manage day-to-day security operations and become familiar with the site layout or beat allocation to create and implement effective policies and procedures.

  • Oversee day to day activities of each department in the office,Incident Management and Emergency

  • Respond to and investigate any security breaches or incidents, escort unauthorized personnel from the site, conduct emergency drills, and assist with evacuation in an emergency, liaising with the emergency services where necessary.



Requirements




  • HND / B.Sc in any relevant field of study

  • 2-3 years experience in a security role, with supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with staff and stakeholders.
