As a Showroom Sales Personnel, you will be responsible for selling the company’s extensive range of furniture and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring strong local brand awareness.
Promote and drive sales to meet daily, monthly, and quarterly targets.
Collaborate with sales and production teams to plan and execute seasonal furniture promotions.
Proactively generate orders and close sales using showroom stock, catalogues, and client consultations on various furniture and fabric options.
Present custom-order alternatives, including suitable fabric and hardware selections.
Maintain and update the accessories inventory database and ensure display accessories are clean, well-presented, and regularly refreshed.
Contribute to the creation and annual review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Oversee the visual appearance of the showroom, ensuring furniture presentation aligns with merchandising standards, seasonal layouts, and visual display guidelines.
Liaise with sales and procurement managers to ensure stock availability and confirm full payment before delivery.
Maintain attention to detail by completing daily order checklists to prevent delays and errors.
Pass along retail leads generated from showroom visits to the wider sales team to maximise opportunities.
Ensure the showroom, storeroom, and ancillary areas are always clean, tidy, and organised.
Verify that all stock is correctly labelled, priced, and includes fabric and dimension details.
Ensure catalogues, swatches, and samples are available at all times.
Maintain a consistent sales presence in the showroom during operating hours.
Ideal Qualifications
B.Sc. Degree or HND in Marketing or a related field.
Degree or Diploma in Interior Decoration from a recognised/accredited institution in Nigeria.
2–4 years of sales experience, preferably within the furniture industry.
