Role Overview
The Operations & Marketing Manager will run daily operations at The Meeting Point Event Centre (two 500-seat halls + outdoor lounge), ensure smooth events, maintain the facility, and grow our online presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookings, schedules, vendors, customer service, and records.
- Supervise staff and ensure clean, safe, ready facilities.
- Coordinate maintenance and manage equipment/utilities.
- Manage Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Business; create content and promotions.
- Build vendor partnerships and drive hall bookings.
- Track performance and report weekly to the owner.
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in event management, hospitality, facility management, or social media marketing.
- OND/HND/BSc in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Excellent communication, organization, reliability, and multitasking.
- Solid understanding of social media (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp).
- Must be based in Asaba or willing to relocate.
Compensation
- Salary: ₦180,000 per month + performance bonuses based on hall bookings/events.
