Job Summary




  • The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve the company’s revenue and market share objectives within the FMCG sector.

  • This role involves overseeing the sales team, managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring consistent growth in line with company goals.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business targets and increase market penetration.

  • Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance and productivity.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships within the FMCG market.

  • Maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and wholesalers to ensure consistent product availability and visibility.

  • Conduct regular market analysis to monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer preferences.

  • Work closely with the marketing and supply chain teams to align promotional activities and ensure product availability.

  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to management.

  • Ensure effective execution of trade marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.

  • Monitor debt collection and ensure adherence to company credit policies.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.



Qualifications and Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in FMCG sales management, with proven success in achieving sales targets.

  • Strong understanding of the FMCG market dynamics, distribution channels, and retail operations.

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Willingness to travel as required.
