Summary
- A GERMAN Multinational equipment manufacturing company is looking to hire the services of a Sales Personnel.
- The Sales Personnel would be responsible for actively driving sales in the building services residential, commercial and Industry market space and also manage the company’s Sales agents/Distributors.
- The Sales Personnel must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
- In addition, the position provides input in terms of contacts in the industry and participates in the marketing, market planning, and technical development of products and services.
- Having worked with a pump manufacturing company or distributorship is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Establishing and meeting Company annual sales quotas and revenue goals
- Daily contact with new and existing clientele
- Continual customer relationship development and lead follow up
- Preparing sales proposals regarding technical products & services coupled with preparing quotes, pump selection,
- Creating and delivering technical presentations
- Review sales inquiries; including a detailed technical specification review Closing sales contracts
- Initiate and follow-up with customers before, during and after the sale
- Maintain up-to-date data entry into Company database
- Coordinates and follows up with applicable Company departments to assure sales job and/or duties are carried out smoothly
- Make weekly and Monthly sales report to management
- Travel on a routine basis to meet with customer and company representatives
- Maintaining up-to-date awareness and understanding of industry trends, technical developments, and government regulations that effect target markets
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or HND; In the sciences preferably.
- Minimum of 2-3 years sales experiences with equipment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including formal presentation skills before both small and large groups
- Demonstrate ability in problem solving and negotiation with special emphasis on closing the sale
- Resident in Abuja
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office software, MS Excel, Power point and word
- Excellent oral/written communication skills, as well as personal appearance
- Well-developed presentation skills
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Availability to travel at least 30% of the time
- Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy
- Ability to properly handle confidential information and records
- Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public. Hausa speaking would be an advantage
- Skill and ability to organize & prioritize work and meet deadlines.
