Description
- We are seeking to employ a dedicated and enthusiastic English Language Teacher who has a genuine passion for teaching and the ability to create a positive and engaging classroom experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of teaching experience, a deep understanding of the Nigerian/British curriculum, and strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in English Language.
- Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the Nigerian and British curricula.
- Assess students’ progress and provide appropriate feedback.
- Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and the personal development of students.
- Make effective use of technology, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, to enhance lesson delivery.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess an HND qualification / B.Sc. / B.Ed Degree in relevant disciplines.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a reputable secondary school.
- Proven track record of preparing students for external examinations (WASSCE, BECE, UTME, IGCSE etc.).
- Proficiency in the use of the interactive white board and deployment of ICT tools in teaching and learning.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A 21st-century educator with an innovative and creative teaching approach.

- An adaptable learner with a teachable spirit.
- Well-groomed and professionally presented.
- Able to build and maintain excellent relationships with learners.
- IGCSE Certification is an added advantage.
