Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Monrovia for a Provost in the College of Health Sciences.


• The Provost will be responsible for overseeing academic and administrative functions, spearheading strategic initiatives, facilitating research and innovation, ensuring program quality, and fostering collaboration among faculty, staff, and students.


• Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing policies, managing budgets, and representing the college within the university and to external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills


• Extensive experience in academic administration and faculty management


• Proven track record in research, innovation, and securing grants


• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills


• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational environments


• Advanced degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, or a related field; a Ph.D. is preferred


• Experience in higher education administration and understanding of the healthcare industry


• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
