We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Proposal Officer to join our dynamic team in the Facility Management industry.
The ideal candidate will have a technical background quantity surveyor in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, combined with a solid understanding of Facility Management operations and digital marketing strategies.
This role requires a strong ability to coordinate, prepare, and deliver high-quality technical proposals that meet client requirements and align with company capabilities.
Responsibilities
Prepare and write comprehensive technical BOQ, proposals for clients Bids and tenders related to facility management services in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air conditioning domains.
Prepare, write, and coordinate technical proposals for facility Management industry
Interpret technical drawings and documentation related to electrical / mechanical systems to prepare BOQ & proposals for bids and tenders.
Prepare and present business proposals, pitches, and presentations to potential clients or investors.
Utilize digital marketing strategies to enhance proposal visibility and engagement.
Stay informed about the company's products or services and be able to articulate their value propositions to clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Managers and Engineers, to support business growth
Apply quantity surveying principles to ensure cost-effective and competitive proposals.
Gather feedback from clients and stakeholders to improve products, services, and business development strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in quantity surveying in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory) and Masters in Business Administration is plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience working in Facility Management Industry or its equivalent, preferably in a proposal Officer role.
Familiarity with tools and materials used in plumbing, electrical, mechanical and construction projects.
Proficiency in Digital Marketing tools, techniques and process.
Strong understanding of Hard Services (HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire safety etc.)
Familiarity with Facility Management contract structures
Working knowledge of Digital Marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress, HubSpot, Google Analytics, or similar).
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and proposal software is a plus
