- Set and achieve sales targets: Define and meet ambitious sales and revenue goals by driving the sales team's performance.

- Conduct market analysis: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Manage budgets: Oversee sales-related expenses and allocate resources efficiently.
Team Management and Development:
- Recruit and train: Hire and onboard new sales representatives, providing them with the necessary product knowledge and sales skills.
- Motivate and coach: Lead and inspire the sales team to meet individual and team targets through regular coaching, mentoring, and performance monitoring.
- Foster a strong sales culture: Encourage a competitive but supportive team environment to drive performance.
Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Manage key accounts: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, including both residential and commercial customers.
- Oversee the sales cycle: Guide the sales team through the full sales process, from lead generation and prospecting to closing deals and after-sales support.
- Ensure customer satisfaction: Address customer complaints and inquiries promptly to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
- Develop tailored solutions: Work with clients to assess their energy needs and present customized solar solutions that fit their specific requirements.
Technical and Operational Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other teams: Coordinate closely with technical, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate information: Act as a technical liaison, translating complex information about solar systems into clear and compelling presentations for clients.
- Report on sales performance: Provide regular sales forecasts, revenue reports, and market intelligence to senior management.
- Use technology effectively: Be proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other sales tools to track activities and analyze data.
Product Expertise and Market Knowledge:
- Understand the product: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all solar energy products, including solar panels, inverters, and battery storage systems.
- Stay current on trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, government incentives (such as tax credits and rebates), and evolving regulations.
- Manage contracts and negotiations: Oversee the negotiation of sales contracts and agreements.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree with 6 - 8 years work experience.
