Job Summary




  • The Chief Security Officer (CSO) is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company’s security strategy to safeguard personnel, assets, operations, and information.

  • The CSO provides leadership in all areas of physical and digital security, ensures compliance with security policies and regulations, and fosters a culture of safety and risk awareness across the organization.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Manage and oversee the company’s physical security systems, including surveillance, access control, and perimeter protection.

  • Lead and coordinate the activities of the security department, including supervision of security personnel and external contractors.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective measures.

  • Ensure the safety and protection of employees, visitors, and company property.

  • Collaborate with government and law enforcement agencies on matters related to corporate security and compliance.

  • Develop and implement emergency response and crisis management plans.

  • Investigate incidents, thefts, or security breaches and prepare detailed reports.

  • Provide training and awareness programs on security policies and emergency procedures.

  • Oversee cybersecurity measures in collaboration with the IT department to protect digital assets and sensitive information.

  • Prepare and manage the security department’s budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Stay updated on emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.



Qualifications and Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, or a related field.

  • Master’s Degree or professional certification (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP) is an added advantage.

  • 7–10 years of experience in security management, preferably in a corporate or industrial environment.

  • Strong knowledge of physical security, risk management, and emergency response.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

  • Proficiency in security systems, technologies, and software.
