  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop and Fleet Manager to oversee the maintenance and management of our construction equipment fleet.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our workshop, managing fleet maintenance, and optimizing equipment availability to support our construction projects.



Responsibilities




  • Manage the workshop team, including mechanics and technicians, to ensure efficient equipment maintenance and repair

  • Oversee fleet maintenance, repairs, and inspections to minimize downtime and optimize equipment availability

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Monitor and control workshop inventory, tools, and equipment

  • Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize fleet efficiency

  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure equipment availability meets project demands

  • Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services

  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the workshop



Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing construction equipment, including Caterpillar, trucks, and other heavy-duty machinery.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems used in construction equipment.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Experience with workshop management software and maintenance management systems.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific safety regulations and standards.
