Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of innovative software solutions. This role requires excellent technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality applications in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and scalable applications to support business processes.


• Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing software applications to improve performance and user experience.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver high-quality software solutions.


• Develop and execute SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support data integrity and reporting needs.


• Document application architecture, workflows, and processes for reference, training, and future upgrades.


• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues in a timely manner.


• Ensure compliance with established IT policies, standards, and best practices.


• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers where required.


• Participate in system reviews, audits, and quality assurance activities.


• Research and recommend innovative tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve development efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 
  

  Minimum of seven (7) years in software development, with proven expertise in application design, development, and maintenance within a corporate environment.

  
  

Technical Competencies:

• Proficient in ASP.NET (vb.NET WCF).


• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, XML, and JSON.


• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL programming.


• Skilled in troubleshooting and technical documentation

Desirable Competencies:

• Knowledge of .NET web services.


• Familiarity with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
