Job Summary




  • We are seeking a passionate and innovative Computer Studies Teacher to join our dynamic academic team.

  • You will deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ digital literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills in alignment with the school’s curriculum standards.



Key Responsibilities




  • Plan and deliver interactive lessons in Computer Studies and ICT using modern teaching methods.

  • Teach topics such as computer fundamentals, coding, digital citizenship, and safe internet use.

  • Design and assess classwork, projects, and practical activities to evaluate students’ progress.

  • Manage and maintain the computer laboratory to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.

  • Integrate real-life applications and emerging technologies into classroom practice.

  • Support school-wide ICT initiatives and co-curricular activities such as coding clubs or robotics.

  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and staff training programs.



Qualifications and Experience




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Education, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Recognized teaching qualification (PGDE, TRCN registration, or equivalent).

  • Minimum of 2–3 years teaching experience, preferably in a secondary or technical school setting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scratch, HTML/CSS).

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
