We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial transactions of the company. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have strong organizational and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and journals.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and cash flow statements.
Monitor petty cash and maintain proper documentation of expenses.
Support with payroll preparation and statutory remittances.
Assist the accountant or finance manager during audits and financial reviews.
Ensure all financial data is organized and easily accessible.
Requirements:
OND/HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) is an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
