Salary: ₦150,000 per month

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Storekeeper with a strong engineering background to manage our engineering and mechanical spare parts store in a leading food manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate must have at least 4 years of proven experience handling technical and mechanical spare parts, maintaining engineering inventory systems, and ensuring the timely availability of components required for maintenance and production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, issue, and track spare parts and engineering materials for maintenance and production teams.


• Maintain accurate stock records and perform regular inventory reconciliations.


• Monitor inventory levels, initiate re-orders, and prevent stockouts.


• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of mechanical and electrical components.


• Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and company safety policies.


• Work closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to ensure efficient parts availability.


• Prepare and update inventory reports, cost records, and usage summaries for management review.

Requirements:

• OND/HND/BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related engineering discipline).


• Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing an engineering or mechanical parts store, preferably in a manufacturing environment.


• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical spare parts and inventory management systems.


• Solid accounting knowledge with the ability to manage stock valuation and cost tracking.


• Excellent organizational, analytical, and record-keeping skills.


• Must reside in Sagamu or nearby environs.
