About the Role
- The ideal candidate will have 4 - 5 years of relevant experience in HSE management, ensuring compliance with local regulations, company standards, and international best practices to promote a safe and sustainable work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, systems, and procedures across project sites.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure preventive measures.
- Promote a strong safety culture through employee training, awareness programs, and engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (DPR, NESREA, ISO, OSHA, etc.) and company safety policies.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and ensure readiness for workplace incidents.
- Liaise with contractors, regulatory bodies, and project managers on all safety-related matters.
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and prepare periodic reports for management review.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- 4 - 5 years proven experience in a similar HSE role (preferably within construction, oil & gas, or engineering projects).
- Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001, or equivalent is a strong advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of HSE regulations, audits, and risk management procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Ability to influence and drive compliance across all organizational levels.
